The imposing figure of a Roman Centurion ready for battle greeting you on the door on Sunday morning is not quite what you would normally expect in Church, but that is exactly what happened in February when a visiting minister from Kent (Alan Murphy) gave the sermon.

The kids loved being kitted out with helmets, shields and swords - but there was a serious side to the sermon as we learnt about the armour of God as told in a Ephesians 6:10-18.
