Overseas Mission

Ragalla Well

Waltham Chase has a strong history of overseas mission and supports a number of charities, some of which are run by members of our church.

Ragalla Aid Project

The work of Ragalla Aid Project started in 1997 when Pene Gordon returned to Sri Lanka after 21 years absence and immediately felt called to help the lives of people there. Since then the charity has supplied water to villages, built schools and helped businesses recover after the tsunami struck.

Quicken Trust

Quicken Trust was founded as a registered charity in 1996 with no intention of working in Uganda. It started as a support for other UK charities.

Following a visit to Uganda in 1999 and a further visit in 2000 its focus changed to assisting the community of Kabubbu ~ 'The Forgotten People' ~ in their search for a way out of poverty, destitution, death and despair to self-determination and hope for their future.

Seeds of Life

Every year the church sends out packets of seeds to John and Wendy Hunt for the benefit of the villagers in Misaka in Gambia, but the mission there has extended beyond just a few plants; buildings, a farm, a school and now a church.

Medical Missionary News

Collection and packing of clothing/blankets, sheets/toys/and other items as called for from the many missionaries in various countries they support. Locally it includes collecting new and nearly new items and selling them at various table top sales in our area to help pay the cost of sending containers which on average is one full container per week.
